in the 18th year of Pope Benedict XIII.
Spain, 1412.
Six
leaves on vellum, in brown ink, dated 1412, with 4 additional leaves
on paper (a later transcription) in Latin. Written during the "Schism"
when there were three popes, Gregory XII, Benedict XIII, and John XXIII.
Popes Clement and Innocent are mentioned. The text concerns Johannes
Martini de Lastrana, Deacon, of St. Peter the Martyr, Monastery, Toledo.
Transcript also names Don Peter Suarez of Toledo and Alfonzo Gundi-Salvi
of Leon.

and ink on vellum.
Rome, 9 December 1620.
Illuminated
diploma, issued by Alessandro Peretti Cardinal Montalto, of the Confraternity
of the Crucifixion of the Church of S. Marcello, in favor of Roderico
Galvani, headed with a Crucifix with two kneeling members of the Order,
with an illuminated acanthus border in blue and red above and at both
sides, on vellum. Signed by the Cardinal and others. A Diploma in civil
law: a royal charter; letters patent granted by a prince or sovereign.
