Written in a small, late Caroline hand in black ink. Versal initials in red and blue. An excellent example of an early musical manuscript using a four-line staff with the 'f' line indicated in red. The text is taken from the Kyrie and Gloria of the Mass. Recovered from a binding.

Latin text and Gregorian notation in dark brown ink. Rubrics and four-line staves in red. Numerous versal initials alternate in red and blue with contrasting intricate penwork. A beautiful leaf from an early Antiphonal.
